Wolf Repair Boston, MA

The outfit

One manufacturer's cooking equipment, one city.

Wolf Repair Boston is an independent repair business working on Wolf ranges, wall ovens, cooktops and ventilation. Not refrigeration, not laundry, not dishwashers. A gas range and an induction top are two different machines that happen to sit in the same kitchen, and both of them reward somebody who opens one most days.

Screwdrivers, pliers, a wire brush and a wooden scraper laid on a white towel with an oven-door hinge plate, a round motor housing and loose screws

Where we stand

Five statements, all of them checkable.

No licence number is printed on this site, no count of jobs closed, and no claim of training or approval by a manufacturer. None of those would be ours to publish.

  • Cooking appliances only: ranges, wall ovens, cooktops and ventilation.
  • Gas pressure measured on every gas call and written on the docket.
  • Factory-approved igniters, spark modules, sensors, elements and blower motors.
  • A flat $95 service call, credited in full against an approved repair.
  • No forms and no email: the phone, or the booking page.

Why gas work gets measured

A burner that lights late, thumps, or lifts its flame off the port looks like a burner problem and very often is not. Manifold pressure, the state of the regulator and what the rest of the house is drawing at the same moment all show up as a symptom at the appliance. Measuring the supply first is what separates a repair that lasts from a part swap that buys three weeks, and it is why a manometer comes out on every gas call here rather than only on the difficult ones.

Why a hood is an airflow problem, not a fan problem

Wolf rates a hood at the blower. Your kitchen experiences it at the end of a duct that may turn twice, narrow once and finish at a cap with a flap that has not moved in years. A blower drawing exactly its rated current can still leave a kitchen full of smoke, so the duct run, the damper and the baffles get looked at before anybody suggests a new motor.

What we will not say

We will not quote your repair before anyone has seen the appliance. We will not describe ourselves as approved, authorised or trained by a manufacturer — that is a status a manufacturer grants and it has not been granted to us. And where replacement is the sensible answer you will be told so plainly, with the diagnosis yours to take elsewhere.

Book a visit

Tell us the model and the fault. The figure follows.

A flat $95 service call covers the visit and the diagnosis, and comes off the bill when you approve the repair. Visits run 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days; the line is answered 24/7.
